Design Sprints
Stop sending documents that undersell your work.
Our graphic design sprints offer marketing managers and their teams professional collateral delivered fast!
When marketing teams are stretched, designing collateral becomes a bottleneck.
Your team doesn't have any dedicated in-house graphic design capacity.
You're always having to chase edits and fix formatting at the eleventh hour.
Your best work is buried in a document nobody's going to finish reading.
Does this sound like you?
What’s often missing isn’t ideas. It’s capacity.
For over a decade, we’ve worked in and alongside non-profit and purpose-led marketing teams. We’ve seen firsthand how much internal teams are expected to juggle — priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, limited resources, and tight budgets.
So when reports, proposals, presentations, and brochures need to be delivered, the production process often becomes another pressure point.
That’s exactly why we created our sprints.
Here's what changes when you stop doing this alone.
Your collateral gets done. Without the chaos. No more last-minute scrambles, no more formatting rabbit holes, no more version 12 of a document that still doesn't look right. You hand over the content, and a professionally designed document comes back — on time, every time.
Your documents look as good as the work inside them. Reports, proposals, presentations and submissions that are polished, on-brand, and easy to navigate. The kind that makes a strong first impression before anyone reads a single word.
You spend less time managing production. More time on the work that matters. Design production stops being the thing that eats your team's afternoon. Your capacity goes back to where it belongs — strategy, delivery, and the programs your community actually needs.
You send things with confidence. No more apologising for how something looks. No more "sorry it's a bit rough." You hand it over knowing it's ready — for the board, the funder, or the public.
You get agency-quality output without the agency overhead. Professional design, fast turnaround, clear scope — without the lengthy briefing processes, the account managers, or the invoice that requires three levels of approval.

How it works: From brief to delivery
1. We start with a 20-minute clarity call. Before anything begins, we get clear on exactly what you need. What's included, what it will cost, when it will be delivered, and what success looks like. No surprises, and no assumptions.
2. You send across your content and assets. Once the brief is locked in, you send through your finalised copy, brand kit, and any imagery. That's your part, done! The allocated number of days starts the moment your assets land — and I get to work immediately.
3. The document is designed. Every design decision is made with your audience, your objectives, and your brand in mind. Not just what looks good — what works for your organisation and the people you're trying to reach.
4. Your document is delivered. A polished, print-ready document lands in your inbox before the deadline. Ready to send to your board, your funders, or your community.
5. Invoice sent on delivery. Once you've approved the final files, we send your invoice. No upfront payment required — we trust the process works when we do.
No fluff. No drama. Just thoughtful, high-quality support that makes your job easier.
Hi, I'm Tess.
Creative & Operations Lead, Salma Blue Studio — BBus
Over a decade ago, fresh out of uni and done with the hospitality grind, I landed myself a marketing role in a team probably not too different from yours now. If I'm being honest, it wasn't the cocktail shaking dream I once had, however what I found was a sector I genuinely loved — and a problem I couldn't stop thinking about.
Non-Profit organisations and mission-driven people doing important work — with roughly half the resources they needed to communicate it properly. I watched talented, stretched teams do their best to produce reports, proposals and collateral on top of everything else they were already carrying.
That stayed with me. When I started Salma Blue Studio, it wasn't just about doing good design. It was about going back to those teams — the ones I knew from the inside — and taking something off their plate for good.

→ Annual and impact reports
→ Funding and program proposals
→ Pitch decks and presentations
→ Brochures and capability statements
→ Stakeholder and board documentsHave something that doesn't quite fit the list? Book a clarity call with Tess anyway. Custom graphic design work outside of our sprint framework is available — we'll always find an approach that works for your project.
-
Before your sprint begins, you'll need to have the following ready:
→ Finalised, proofread copy
→ Brand guidelines and logo files
→ Fonts and hex colour codes
→ Any imagery or photography you want includedYou'll receive a content brief template at booking that walks you through everything step by step — nothing gets missed.
-
No problem — additional pages are available at $100 per page. The important thing is to flag this before we begin so we can scope it correctly and your timeline isn't affected.
-
No — you write, I design. The copy, data and messaging needs to come from you.
If your content isn't quite ready, that's okay — book a clarity call and we can talk through where you're at, scope the timeline around your content schedule, and make sure everything lines up before we begin.
-
Revision rounds sit outside the standard sprint inclusions and are scoped at the briefing stage — this is intentional. Sprint turnarounds are tight by design, and building revisions into the process upfront means we can plan for them properly rather than scrambling at the end. We'll discuss this on your clarity call.
-
Yes, stock imagery sourcing and licensing are available as an add-on. Pricing depends on how many images you need and the licence type required for your publication. Raise it at the briefing stage, and I'll include a quote.
-
No. Your invoice is sent once your final files are delivered.
-
All sprints include both a print-ready PDF and a screen-optimised PDF for digital sharing. Editable source files (in either Canva or Adobe) can be added as an add-on to your sprint, so your team can make updates down the track without starting from scratch.
-
Every enquiry starts with a clarity call — so there's no need to figure it out alone. We'll walk through your project requirements together and find the right fit before any commitment is made.
You've got enough on your plate.
We’re here to help. Consider your upcoming project crossed off by the end of next week.
